Easter Shake Down

Goodly temperature to do a shake down on some of the bikes, make sure they are all ready for the coming season... usual issues of bikes needing a little TLC...

Mini gets a motor

Torrot Mini in the workarea prepared to take the AV7 motor, slight clearance problem on the head mount so one fin had to be trimmed so the mount would sit proper...

First run for the Turismo

Weather turned excellent - no wind and plus 10 so it was prime time to get the Turismo outside and fire her up for the first time...

Motor for the mini...

Getting out the toolage to port an AV7 cylinder for the Mini...

then add a AV88 high mount head

and a nice cashew pipe

Today, my friend Mac and I headed out to check and verify a rumour that someone in Eastern Ontario has a stash of very minty NOS Motobecane parts....

...and the words being passed around about the cache of parts is 100% true...

Torrot Mini

 

Torrot Turismo is as good as done, need to just get some goodly weather so we can give her a shake down and see what ever else she would need.  

 

It would appear that the Torrot Mini would be next in line... need to transplant some Moby parts including a AV7 motor with a AV88 head...
